The Keycards are Here (category: General)
As I write this a physical facilities guy wearing an "America - Love It or Leave It" t-shirt is putting in the last, and most important, keycard reader, the record library. So I've said this before but I really mean it this time; if you are a cleared engineer then I need your name and SSN so your ID card can open the record library door (e-mail me it at Robert@whrwfm.org). The keycard reader will soon be the only way to get into the record library so if you want to keep useing records and CD's that belong to the station on your show then I need your info!
ONLY CLEARED ENGINEERS are eligible to use the keycard system. An access list will be up soon for the record library and it will be the job of the engineer on duty to both swipe his/her apprentice/apprentices into the record library, and (after checking the access list) swipe in any other apprentices that come by during that engineers show (if you dont feel like leaving CR1 you can just lend your apprentices your ID card for a second and they can let themselves in)
Please get this info to me as soon as you can! I'll be submitting the information very frequently up until the end of next week, November 9th, after that complains of, "I can't get into the record library because I didn't give you my info," are going to receive very little sympathy from yours truly.

PS - I've said this before too but its good to say again; your SSN will be kept in the strictest of confidence. I will be the only person with your information, it will not be on the station computers, and it will not be shared with anyone except the guy who programs the keycard readers. posted by Robert @ 14:21:31
