MOE is 37 (category: General)
This month marks WHRW's 37th year of broadcasting as WHRW 90.5fm. The Harpur Radio Workshop (that's what HRW stands for by the way) was originally formed in 1954, and in 1962 began broadcasting as a 10 watt AM station called WRAF. Since then we've become an FM station, gotten a transmitter over 150 times more powerful than that little 10 watt one, and we currently have over 170 active members. It's been a great 37 years for Moe Loogham and here's to hoping that the station will just keep growing for another 37!
