Thanks to everyone who helped with WHRW's 24 Hour Marathon to raise money for the Paul J Battaglia scholarship fund. Whether you donated big or small or were one of the intrepid station members who beat the pavement panhandling you helped make the marathon a success. We managed to raise over one thousand dollars for a great cause and have an awesome time doing it. And if you missed the six awesome live bands, crazy late night antics, remote broadcasts, and the transformation of my (Rob the GM's) hair into a red spiky mess remember the marathon will definitely be back next year to raise more money with some insomnia fueled fun. But if you forgot to call in and make your contribution to the Paul fund or you would like to make a donation remember its never too late check out the donate link at the top of this page for more information.
In other news the WHRW charity softball game (to support the scholarship fund as well) approaches ever closer! Come on down to the softball field (directions will be posted soon) here at Binghamton University on May 9th to see WHRW's DJ's square off against the DJ's of Wild 104. It's gonna be an epic battle of commercial versus non commercial radio, and a lot of fun to boot. So come by and watch the game (were only asking for a measly 3 bucks to get in) or tune in to the H for some live play by play action.
