Want to be a DJ? (category: General)
WHRW's General Interest Meeting for the spring semester will be held this upcoming Wednesday the 28th at 6pm in the East Lounge of the University Union. If you think you've got what it takes to have your own radio show come on by and we'll explain everything there is to becoming a WHRW DJ. As is implied by the words "General Interest" you don't have to have any pervious radio experience to be a DJ, and you don't necessarily have to join the station just because you come to the meeting.
The meeting for all you returning DJ's will start at 7:30. Please e-mail me at GM@whrwfm.org and let me know if you can't make it so you don't end up getting docked an hour of station service.
Other important dates: The class for new clears who have yet to take the exam (or old clears who want to brush up) is going to be held on Friday the 30th at 6pm in room 104 of the University Union. The clearance exam for anyone who needs to clear or re-clear will be given Saturday January 31st from 12noon to 3pm in the food court above the station. If you can not make this test time for reasons out of your control please e-mail Jessica at PD@WHRWFM.org as soon as possible and she will try to accomidate you.
Yours in Moe
